The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an Electrical Design Drafters to join our Primary Engineering Team in our Adelaide head office.
You will work on innovative high voltage infrastructure projects for the National Electricity Grid including substations, grid connections, and battery storage. Supporting the design and construction of our projects whilst delivering high quality results, to meet standards and project deadlines.
Your responsibilities will include undertaking, managing and producing high quality design artefacts, technical documentation and other work tasks to agreed deadlines, standards and in accordance with the project plans.
About You
Desired Skills and Experience
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Possess
- The ability to interpret and implement design information provided by Primary Design Engineers, Civil Design Engineers and Design Managers
- Sound knowledge of the utilities or renewable energy industry with experience in substation design highly regarded
- Previous experience producing CAD drawings in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD for compliance with client requirements and standards, to ensure completeness prior to issuing for manufacturing/construction
- Tertiary studies are favourable however not essential
